Apollo Currency and Apollo DAE Match-up!

If you have been in the Crypto trading space for some time, you will be aware of In-house token pairs issued directly by an exchange such as Binance's (BNB) or Kucoin's "Kucoin Shares" (KCS), with the aim to offer benefits to traders such as discounts when using their services. For these exchanges, doing so provides better liquidity with an added promotional boost. The fact is the real BIG money in Crypto is not made by trading Bitcoin, but instead by running the platform where Bitcoins are traded. More and more exchanges are coming online in order to get a piece of the Market, making headlines by introducing or teasing their own Flagship coins. Two other pairing coins which come to mind are the Huobi Token (HT) and BITHUMB.

This overview will highlight two soon to be released exchanges but with a slight twist. First I have to mention that I previously wrote a review on The Apollo Currency Wallet which has a built in exchange. However while doing my due diligence in preparation for that review, I had to make sure not to get my facts tangled with the similarly named Apollo DAE which is a full fledged exchange in the making.

I came away with enough notes on each project, that I felt it would be beneficial to do a match-up of the two and see what features are offered that sets them apart, and what future customers can look forward to.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that there has been some confusion across the web between these two projects. Even leading to claims of fraud on both sides. Only time will tell what the fate of these two products will be. However anyone can currently go to both websites and read up on the details and the Teams involved. In the case of Apollo Currency, the Wallet can be downloaded now and given a test drive.

Overall, these two projects named Apollo have a similarity in that they both plan on establishing exchanges, however that's where the similarities end. I haven't done enough research into The Apollo DAE and AVO tokens exchange to have a valued opinion honestly. However I do like the design and prospects of having voting power on an exchange. This idea is not a unique one, but welcomed none the less. On the flip side, The Apollo Currency has already impressed me with its feature set. What the project plans to do with its exchange is wholly unique. Setting aside looks for a moment, its promised functionality will set the Apollo Wallet apart from most exchanges. If Apollo Currency is successful in what they envision, then it may make Exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, and Apollo DAE antiquated.
