At this years Anime Expo event it was announced that the Gundam franchise would be bringing it Gundam Versus game series to the North American market for the the Playstation 4 system.

Gundam Versus is and arcade type brawler where players can pick from a roster of Gundams from the franchise and battle against other Gundams in fights.

Being a fan of the Gundam franchise, I wanted to make a list of my favorite Gundams that I have seen from the many anime that have been released.

Blitz Gundam's weapons allow for it to switch from attack to defense quickly making it a versatile fighter. Its weapons include:

Gundam is one of those franchises I'm still shocked I enjoy so much. The concept of giant battle robots seems so cliche and overdone, but it seems more often than not the core gundam series have consistently deep, meaningful stories. Just finished watching Iron Blooded Orphans and I still haven't fully recovered.

Same here. I didn't think it would be something that I would still enjoy so much. I remember as a kid watching every episode that I could just out of the giant robot battles. It wasn't until I was older and watched them again that I got more into the story side of the shows.

I remember loving the first episode of Gundam Wing when it first came to Canada. Unfortunately it aired past my bedtime so I didn't actually watch it until I was in my mid 20s. Maybe for the best, probably couldn't appreciate the story properly back then.

I remember watching the first episode too.

The one that was my favorite was watching G Gundam and seeing Shining Gundam. After that episode, it became my favorite Gundam.

Hmm, never seen G Gundam I don't think. I've watched most of Wing, all of Zero, IBO aaand... I think one other. Unicorn is queued up right now. One difficulty I have these days is my standards for animation have gotten too high. Can't really get into the older shows anymore.
