Absolute Duo (2015) [Anime]

Suh bras. A huge cliche anime that is just entertaining. Just 12 episodes of one season, has plot holes and not enough to cover the background and the future (I'm watching the last episode now, so mb future is covered? xD). It's a quite fun harem anime with a main character that's put into full retard mode, it's not that used that often but he insists on being sorry for something that he didn't even need to be sorry for, like takes the blame for others, but I guess it blends well with the personality portrayed in the anime, I just call it a full tard mode.

Anywho so the story is about a boy who wants to become strong and background story holes to avenge somebody he loved and shit? So he joins an academy in which he can train his gained magickal powers. The way people are trained there are quite squeezing to push themselves into their greatest potential. So there are a lot of fighting lessons done and then given upgrades afterwards. I mean it's kinda useless to train somebody and then give them boosts because boosts are initially the source of their greater power given to them lmao.

This anime has a lot of "dere" types of girls, so lovers of harem will enjoy it, some comedy and lots of cute stuff. Why Absolute Duo is called that I'm not sure, though it's a state of "ultimate power", but another reason this anime for "Duos" is that the students are trained in duos which is... nah not gonna spoil of how it sounds xD, to prepare them for jobs~ that are taken after the graduation. Overall it's a fun simple 12 episode anime which is entertaining, nothing really deep, though still at least it has character development.
