We just Drove across the United States... with a 3 month old.

in #animals6 years ago

Yea, you read that right. I drove from California to Florida and we didn't take the shortest way either.

First stop Mexico!!

So we of course went and got some awesome Tacos! I am not sure if you have ever had tacos before but the best place to find them is obviously at the source and that would be Mexico! We found a popular restaurant and grabbed a seat. The food was delicious! :D I mean look at all those toppings!

I even got her to drive for 30 whole minutes!!

I did 99% of the driving but for about 30 minutest she drove. I took this opportunity to take some pictures to prove it.

Then we headed back to California to say our farewells!

We of course had to stop and watch some fire works in a near by neighborhood and as they should the firemen were near by to make sure nothing went wrong.

Next stop Las Vegas!!!

(Apologies in Advance for shitty photos)

We got to hang out with an old friend and her mother and that was a blast. We spent time on the Strip (but didn't gamble) and ate good food and had a really good time.... but then 2 days later we were on our way again.

This time heading to Mom's house in Colorado!!

After 18 hours in the car we finally made it to my mom's house and that is were this poor momma zonked out in a ball of stuffed turtle and polar bear blanket.

The next morning came and we set out to see my brother for some breakfast!

It looks like Charlie was having a blast with his Uncle! :P

After some much needed rest and relaxation it was time to watch one more sunset before heading out!

And what a beautiful view it was indeed! (PS: She wasn't posing for this picture but actually fixing her hair.)

Then we needed gas and there was a Bass Pro Shop right there so we decided to take a break in Missouri.

Then it was off to Tennessee and Memphis was the destination!

I mean who wouldn't want to stop at the Zoo while in Memphis!?

From Pandas to Jelly Fish the zoo was a blast. We spent the day there and were happy to do it.

As the time at the zoo came to a close it was time to say goodbye and get back on the road!

Stopped in Mississippi to see some old friends but after a picture of Charlie we were heading south again!!

We soon crossed a few more state lines and then we would see, it was finally Florida and the Beach, the Sea!

Finally Florida, with beautiful snakes, sand, Sun and smiles.

(Eastern American King Snake, often confused with the Eastern American Coral Snake)

Finally with out bag unpacked and our destination reached. We were able to unload and spend some time near the sea.

Thanks for being on this trip with me! :D

It looks so nice. She looks so adorable. I loved her smile while she met her uncle. Take my best wishes to your family. It seems really a long drive from one state to another as I think most of the states are bigger than our country.

My son is a He... so you should say "He looks so adorable." Otherwise you are calling him a girl. Ha! Either way thank you very much and yes that smile with his uncle was precious! He is a very happy baby.

I am unsure what country you live in but yes the states here are very large and can take a long time to drive through just one.

Thanks for the correction. I am from Bangladesh. I remember the post you made about him before he was born and you were talking about vaccination. I hope all went well.

I am from Bangladesh. Have a nice Friday.
