Rhinos

Our guide had so well trained eyes, he spotted these two rhinos through bushes and trees on the other side of a waterhole, he explained that they were mother and child. It was a pretty hot day, so the were bathing in mud to keep themselves cool. We saw them cuddling and every so often getting up to take another bath. The guide also told us that they have very bad eyesight, therefore they wouldn't see us as individuals sitting in a vehicle but they'd see us as one ominous big "animal".

It was a very nice experience to see rhinos in the wild and at the same time it is very depressing to know that they get poached for their horns.
