THE ANIMALS NEAR US - RUNAWAY RABBIT'S BABY BUNNIES
We always thought that Runaway Rabbit would make a great mom, and now she is proving it.
Time and time again we tried to get Runaway pregnant, and every time she came up empty. We were even close to giving up. We figured that we would give her one more chance, and it worked.
Runaway not only got pregnant, but she gave birth to 12 little bunnies. Amazingly, all 12 have survived!
She even had to split them up into two nests and take turns nursing them, but all of her hard work paid off.
We love the wide variety of colors and patterns, and can't wait to watch them as they grow.
She was Pinkie-Pepper's first rabbit and she ran away.... twice! Each time we got her back, and now she is our newest mother.

Dang! For a first time mother that's insane! Our rabbits got really good at taking care of their babies by the 2nd or 3rd litter, but some of them definitely didn't have the hang of it for the 1st litter
Everyone else lost some the first and second times around, but not Runaway!
Glad to see Runaway Rabbit is being a good mum.
