Cussed old age doesn't come alone!

This week I was like the bloke who had all his windows changed, then found it was his glasses that were cracked.

My landline phone went wrong ,It’s been one of those weeks. I couldn’t make or receive calls on my landline phone.My broadband was working and callers were being recorded in the - 'This Number Called Today' menu, so I assumed and argued that it could not be the phone line,it had to be the handset that was faulty.

I wasn’t too worried or hurried to get it repaired because it was a relief to be free of the frequent nuisance calls selling funeral plans and care home offers.

Family and friends needing to know how to contact me had my mobile number so I considered managing with just that.

Then during a conversation with a family member on my mobile the screen went blank and I realised that I would be unable to contact anyone in emergency.

So next morning I hurriedly bought a new landline handset. Didn’t work.

I then did what I should have done in the first place.Got the line checked.There was a fault, which was soon repaired.

Any one want a new unused handset !

Yes quite a week because then a skin rash came on my arms and knees.On seeing it the doctor said 'That’s nasty'. Just clearing now thanks to some antibiotic cream.

Amidst the setbacks I had some success on Facebook with a Meme I made for the dog website. Here’s a screenshot. 1,610 people reached. Is that good ?

And another one which didn’t have the same success but I like because it’s a play on the Clint Eastwood remark which made screen history and is repeated by youngsters in gangster and cowboy game play.”Go ahead punk – Make my day”
