Would you advice me to eat?
After rains yesterday, the house is swarmed with these flies.
I hear they are edible and I want to have a taste.
If I was your friend/family, would you advise me to try them out or I should stop?
Do you have them where you are? And how do you call them?

Nope. No flies like that here where I live in mid-America. I would think the wings are difficult to eat and would make the flies difficult to cook or roast. I would not eat them raw due to parasite risks. I If you take the wings off first, that's a lot of work for very little benefit. In a survival situation perhaps.
I took the wings of and stir fried....was pretty tasty
Like one would with grasshoppers, right?
