Bulgarian cats

Every day, walking around the city or the embankment, I draw attention to a large number of street cats. They are everywhere. Not at all afraid of people. It is worth stopping to take a picture, as a cat or cat approaches you, sometimes not alone, but with friends. Sit at the feet and meow, faithfully looking into his eyes. Waiting for treats.

By the way, here they are constantly fed by locals and tourists. I have never seen anyone throw something into a cat or simply drive it away.

Sometimes a whole flock of cats sleeps in bushes not far from a “filling” place, a stall or a cafe.

They can safely go to the cafe and sit under the seat or in front of the rack with food.

True, they are gushing here, but so softly that the cats simply idly go to a temporary position, and after a while return to a warm place. A cat can fall apart right on the footpath or on the beach, under the scorching sun, and literally sleep without its hind legs.

Wonderful life with cats in this Bulgarian city. As they say, warm, nourishing and the flies do not bite. Well, flies can bite, but the dogs are definitely not. Because there are no stray dogs here. This, after all, can not be an accident that during a month of walking I have not seen a single stray dog. All dogs walk only on leashes, with the owner and on special sites.

They say that the paradise life of cats due to the policy of the city. Once cats cleared the city of rats and mice, and now they are "guarding" the city. I do not know whether this is true. But somehow they got their happy life.
