UP CLOSE WITH THE BABY PIGLETS

They sure are cute at this age!

Some of you have probably already seen the story about these piglets moving back into the neighborhood with their mom. I thought that it would be a good opportunity to get some more practice in with my camera, and to share some cute animal photos with all of you. Enjoy the photos!

nice post thanks for searing.......

So adorable.
Thank you so much for sharing these photos with us.
These guys are so cute. I bet little-peppers really enjoyed them.

Three little piggies, eh? So are you the big bad wolf?

Pig manure makes great fertiliser once composted. Got to be sure it is well broken down or it is too rich for a lot of plants, but once it has, it is some of the best fertiliser there is. Possibly better even than chook manure.

You can also make it up to a liquid fertiliser.
We used to have a 44gallon drum. Half filled with pig manure, filled with water, lid on, allow to fester for a while, a few months, and watered the gardens once a week with diluted servings. Best vege gardens in the region.

Also did this with carp and chook manure. The worms love the gardens this water is used upon. Just make sure it is well brewed so you don't burn the roots or leaves and tips of the plants.

Oh wow, carp and chook manure? I can't wait for aquaponics!

Aquaponics is a great thing. Growing up your fish whilst at the same time growing healthy and nutritious vegetables. What could be better than that?

They're gorgeous little pigs!

Some people still do backyard farming here. Hope people go back growing their food and be more healthy. Hoping to save more and build a yard with dad. Im startting my small lettuce farm.

That sounds like a good goal!

Yup. Will post a about it next month.

a cute piglet, and cute! friends, please visit my blog

Did you mean cute instead of cure @papa-pepper. Those no mention of them being sick in previous post just moving them from their mom hog. Either way cool little pigs

Yes... typo. I've done that one before too.
