This is due to its high adaptability, so that it can live in various types of habitat and its high reproductive power.

In the past, the snail's initial presence became an enemy for farmers. The golden snail can consume rice with a short time in an area of ​​hectares. As one of the efforts to reduce the population of golden snail pests, a study was conducted to utilize golden snail eggs which have interesting colors as a source of natural pigments and as feed for ducks.


The hope is that the snails produced have the potential to be applied as rich natural dyes, especially in the field of cosmetics, for facial beauty.
