RE: A Black-capped Chickadee just saying hello :)

On my deck, I have a few hanging feeders, and some other feed stations (trays, seed spread, and nyjer socks, etc). I often stand with tripod on one end, and shoot birds, while they flit from station to station, or the branches I have tied to the railing. Once, I was shooting, and a Chickadee landed on my head, would flit over, grab some seed and land back on my hat. Eat. then head back for another seed.

Sounds like you've got a great setup there :) My parents have a lot of feeders and I love to just watch them do there thing when I visit. I can stand a couple of feet from the hummingbird feeder and they'll swoop on in and feed, I just have to remain still and they don't seem to mind :)

Chickadees are quite the friendly birds! Just holding my hand up to block the sun and they'll land and look for some food :) The red-winged black birds do the same! They're spoilt here in Stanley Park :)
