IndonesiaKukang Sumatera (Nycticebus coucang) or Greater Slow Loris is one of three types of lemurs Indonesia. In addition to the Sumatran Loris, the other two types are the Java Loris (Nycticebus javanicus) and the Kukang Kalimantan (Nycticebus menagensis).
Body length of the loris of Sumatra between 27-38 cm with body weight ranges between 600-700 grams. The body of this loris of Sumatra is bigger than its brother, Kukang Borneo but smaller than Kukang Jawa. This species has a round head with a short snout and a stocky body. Color body fur varied, but generally reddish. There are lines along the back that are dark brown. The tail and ears are very small, hidden among the feathers. The face is flat and has large eyes. Like other types of slow lorises, the Sumatran loris has a pair of canine teeth and is poisonous.
