Pigeon racing is a breeding result of pigeons that have been specially bred to be able to fly faster, instinct for a stronger home for pigeon racing sports. Popular pigeons are domesticated, pigeon racing, is one of the most recent results.

Pigeons belong to the clever birds, this is proven by the shame and its ability to recognize the enclosure and the surrounding area, especially pigeon post. Pigeon Racing has other advantages that are not less great with the pigeon post, which is able to recognize the couple, owner, or coach from a considerable distance.

Generally a good racing pigeon has the following characteristics:

  1. Head and Neck:

A Short, Straight, Strong, and slightly curved tip indicates a good squeeze or sleigh.
Clear eyes with full round eyes (not seen broken) and small indicates good enough ability to see clearly from a distance.
Proportional and large enough heads indicate great brain contents (intelligent).
The neck is sufficient and not too long and large, but still proportional to keep the position of flying against the air to stay streamlined.

  1. Body, Foot and tail:

Strapping shoulders and sturdy as a place to attach wings
The wing muscle is thick enough to indicate its strength flaps its wings to the maximum so as to obtain a great range in one's feet. Neat, thick, long, wide, and tight wing feathers indicate that pigeons can reach long distances in single-feed because a little air is loose. Primary wing feathers usually consist of 10 feathers, but occasionally found pigeons with feather wings primer 11 feathers on one or both wings. This condition can increase the density of wing feathers.
Legs are proportional with small and long fingers to direct the backward wind after passing through the chest on flight
The pile of feathers on the thick buttocks and pubic bones is hard enough so that the compactness of the muscles to reach the maximum end speed can be guaranteed.

  1. Other features:

Fine, dry, and waxy to reduce the friendliness and prevent the storage of water from the air that can reduce the speed of birds because of weight gain.
Chest bone slightly curved to reduce wind friendship.
The neck of a racing pigeon should be proportional, not too short and not too long, so as not to add friction in the air.
