Animal Omnivore Monkey
Monkeys are one of the omnivorous animals because their food sources come from animals and plants. Monkey foods are seeds, fruits, nuts, small animals and insects.
Monkeys are a term used for all nonmemory primates ("pre-ape", such as lemurs and tarsiers) or apes, whether in the Old World or the New World. To date has been known as many as 264 species of monkeys that live in the world.
In contrast to apes, monkeys are generally tailed and smaller in size. Among the advantages of monkeys is to learn and use tools to facilitate it in getting food.
This grouping of monkeys is parafiletic, because the Old World monkey genetic kinship is actually closer to apes (Hominidae), than the New World monkey. Some monkeys in everyday terms are also commonly referred to as apes.
