Hello Hoomans! Today i want to tell you about a cute animal called Quokka. Have you ever heard their name? they are Cute creature that seems like always happy.
Quokka is a small macropod, their size is just like a domestic cat. Quokka can be found on small Australian islands such as Rottnest Island and Bald Island. They are Herbivore animal mainly nocturnal.
The quokka clan makes their home in swamps and scrublands, tunneling through the brush to create shelters and hideouts and emerging at night to find food.
They are very frendly, They don't seem afraid to get along with humans. They even smile and make cute poses in front of camera.
You can selfie with them but remember, do not touch or feed them or you can be issued with a fine of up to A$300. Maybe it's because of the declining population so Australian government have had to put in place legislation for the protection of the quokka.
