Some random day in my life

This situation happened in a day of the midterm exam. I woke up and went to the university in my mother's car as usual. Everything seemed to be as normal as always, except for one thing.

There was a heavy rain that day which made a traffic jam worsen. Normally, I spent just an hour to go to university, but that time I spent almost 2 hours in the car. While I got stuck in a traffic jam, I spent my time reading books and preparing for the exam. At that moment, I glanced at my watch to see what time it is. The watch showed me that it was already 8.50am which meant I was going to be late for the exam.

So, I decided to ride a motorbike taxi to university instead of waiting in the car o the main road. I only thought of the way to go to university as fast as possible. And my decision was right. I was at university around 8.59am.

...Just 1 minute left...

Fortunately, my was 80 building. It wasn't too far, so I can relax a little bit. But when I came into the building, I saw a lot of students waiting for the lift at the first floor. At first I decided to queue for the lift, but when I looked at the line of waiting people, I couldn't even see the end of the line. So, I decided to use the stairs instead.

Luckily, I had the exam on the 6th floor. I looked at my watch again and it showed me that it was 9.00am. At that moment I decided to run towards the 6th floor.

When I arrived at the 6th floor, my friends were waving at me. It might sound exaggerated, but I felt like being in some horror movie. My friends were really shocked that I could be there on time. Their faces were like they were going to run, after they saw some ghost.

I thought I know why my friends looked like that. It's because 10 minutes ago I just told them I was stuck on the way here. They would think I was going to be late for sure. And then I appeared in front of them just in time.

So, before we all were going to be late for real, we all ran to the room which was at the end of that floor and went inside.

...Phew... It's really close, though. ;)
