6/30 ANDY HOFFMAN (CryptoGoldCentral.com): Bitcoin Rhodium – Strong Hands Snapshot, Grace Period, And Trezor Conversion Consultations
Each quarter, 1/32 of the 250,000 XRC Strong Hands escrow is paid to XRC addresses where no negative balance movements occur, as a reward for “BRODLing.” The second quarter of the program – which yielded 5.7% annually in its first quarter – is coming to an end; and balances as of July 7th will be rewarded with the next Strong Hands reward a quarter hence.
Normally, the snapshot would be July 1st, but the devs incorporated a seven-day “grace period” to move balances without penalty, between July 1st and 7th, in anticipation of Trezor’s firmware update. It hasn’t happened yet – but if it does next quarter, there may (or may not) be another grace period in early October.
Either way, if you were considering a position in Bitcoin Rhodium – particularly, a big one, yielding big Strong Hands dividends - the best time to acquire it is just before a quarterly Strong Hands snapshot; in this case, July 7th.

The COMPREHENSIVE firmware update that will officially incorporate Trezor support to XRC has not occurred yet, but is imminent. However, a MINOR firmware update occurred several weeks ago, with a series of upgrades to the Trezor “Model T”; i.e., it’s higher-end model. Consequently, Bitcoin Rhodium now works with the Model T – to be joined by the Trezor One, when the comprehensive update occurs.
To utilize Trezor to store Bitcoin Rhodium, you will first need to move your XRC from the web wallet to the Electrum wallet, if you haven’t already. That way, you will be able to use the Model T now, or the Trezor One when the comprehensive firmware update occurs.
Tomorrow, I will be moving XRC from my web wallet to Electrum – after which, I will publish a brief description of the process. I am told it’s easy, and will be shown first-hand. However, for those requiring assistance, I will be offering consultations throughout the week, for a small fee.
Remember, the grace period to move funds amongst XRC wallets starts tomorrow, July 1st, at 00:00:01 UTC, and ends July 7th at 23:59:59. Any movement of XRC before the grace period starts will disqualify you from the 2Q Strong Hands reward – and after the grace period, the 3Q reward.
Bitcoin Rhodium currently trades on p2pbp2.io, WhiteBit, Trade Satoshi, Fat BTC, Sistemkoin and Bisq. If you have questions about anything XRC-related, including OTC trading, please email me at [email protected], or DM/PM me on Twitter or Discord.
