Android Security Bulletin August 2018: fixed 43 vulnerabilities
Google released Android Security Patch for August 2018 for all devices, this patch fixes many security vulnerabilities and other issues reported by users. These include two security patch levels, which fix a total of 43 security vulnerabilities including frameworks, multimedia frameworks, systems, cores, Qualcomm components, and Qualcomm closed source components.
This security patch will address several of the most serious security vulnerabilities, allowing local malicious programs to bypass user interaction requests for additional access. The update also fixes a critical vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. In addition, Google today also released Pixel / Nexus Security Bulletin for August 2018, to remind the support of the state of Google Pixel and Nexus devices to upgrade, a total of 28 security vulnerabilities.
The Android Security Patch for August 2018 is currently available for all supported Google devices, including Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel XL 2, Google Nexus 6P and Google Nexus 5X, and support devices similar to Essential Phone. It is recommended that users upgrade Android Security Patch for August 2018 as soon as possible.
