Try asking your local MP if they will act as your fiduciary and watch them start sidestepping the question. 9 times out of 10 they will say they represent the "electorate". The electorate has nothing to do with people, it's an imaginary space drawn on a map. So when they say they represent the electorate what they really mean is they are not there to represent people, they are just in it for the perks.

My son knows the local MP from uni days and has a low opinion of him so I dont think I will bother 🙈🙉🙊
