Texas showdown.

I may be wrong on this but I do not think Texas must win tomorrow night to make the playoffs. With only two other SEC teams with less than 3 losses, I do not think they will keep Texas out with 2 losses. I know some will argue the strength of schedule and that is a legit argument. But Texas beat a lot of teams that then beat the top SEC team so the talk of Texas having an easy schedule is overblown. That they did not have is an elite schedule and not for lack of trying as they scheduled the defending national champions for one of their nonconference games.

Having said that we Longhorn fans still really want to beat the Aggies. And we can. If the Longhorns can stifle the Aggie running game with the base defense then I think they will have a hard time moving the ball consistently. On offense, I like to see some play action on early downs to help loosen up the Aggie front to our running game. Keeping turnovers low and getting a couple ourselves would seal the deal if we can do those things.

It will be rocking and the Aggie fans will be going wild. But they were the last time we came into their stadium and beat them. Let's do it again. GO HORNS!!!
