Winning free items on Amazon Giveaways.

We all know about those sketchy Facebook give away posts that never seem to deliver. Some are straight up scams. Others are jokes. And some are legitimate. But what if you could remove all the worry of third party giveaways?

Amazon has their own Giveaways section hosted on their marketplace. Any person or company can sponsor a giveaway for whatever reason they wish. So how does it work?

First go to https://www.amazon.com/ga/giveaways

Make sure you are logged into your amazon account. All prizes are distributed through Amazon and your information is not given to the sponsor. All shipping and handling is also covered by the sponsor.

Now comes the easy part. Find a Giveaway that you would like to enter. It should have a photo along with a brief title of the product. Below it should state who it is hosted by and what needs to be satisfied to enter.

Here is an example:

This is a gaming External Hard Drive. The giveaway is hosted by SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY. and you will need to watch 30 seconds of a youtube video before entering.

Click on the giveaway to open it's specific page (I like to open it in a new tab)

An example it looks like this:

This Giveaway wants you to tweet a message for them, so you'll need to link a twitter account. Click Tweet and that will bring you to the final page.

Simply click on the box to see if you won.This page will also contain the rules and odds of winning at the bottom

Didn't win? Don't worry, you can enter as many Giveaways as you like.

TIPS

-You only need to watch 30 seconds of the youtube video, the enter button should appear after that is satisfied, don't bother watching the entire thing. (Occasionally this will glitch to the old rule that was 2 minutes.)

-Be aware of how many tweets you are sending out in a day. Twitter will flag you as a bot if you spam it too much.

-The ones that say "No Entry requirement" are by far the fastest. With the video watching being the slowest.

-Following someone on Amazon will change your recommendations and email preferences, so be aware that you may get some odd emails.

-You can only enter each giveaway once, new ones are added all the time. Don't know if you entered it? Click on it, it will tell you.
