CAUSES OF INFERTILITY IN WOMEN
Most cases of infertility in women are caused by problems associated with ovulation. With no ovulation - no eggs to be fertilized. One signs shows that a woman is not ovulating which include:

• irregular or absent mentrual periods.

Ovulation problems are often caused by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). This is an hormone imbalance which interferes with normal ovulation.

However a primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) occurs when a woman's ovaries stop working normally before age 40. POI is not the same as early menopause

LESS COMMON CAUSES OF INFERTILITY IN WOMEN ARE:

1. Blocked fallopian tubes due to pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy.

2. Physical uterus issues

3. Fibrioids (non- cancerous clumps of tissues and muscle on the wall of the uterus.

FACTORS THAT INCREASE INFERTILITY RATE IN WOMEN

1. Age
2. Smoking
3. Excess alcohol
4. Stress
5. Poor diet
6. Athletic Training
7. Obesity
8. STIs

Moreover, women should talk to there doctors if they experience the following:

1. Irregular periods or no menstrual periods
2. Painful menstruation
3. Endometriosis
4. Pelvic inflammatory disease
5. More than one miscarriage.
