In the famous words of kim jong il, "Damn you Arec Balren!"

Baldwin is guilty as hell, and he should take the fact that he's not going to prison as a victory.
Now, I do have to reiterate that Ms. Morrissey did royally fuck up. I begrudgingly took the position that it was the right decision to call a mistrial. I want to hold the state to that standard.
Morrissey is a career defense attorney, and it seems that she screwed up due to lack of experience on the other side.
Still, the evidence that was withheld that caused the mistrial was completely immaterial. Baldwin knew about the safety complaints. Of course there shouldn't have been live rounds on the set, but Baldwin knew that there was. Where the bullets came from didn't change Baldwin's actions at all.
I've been following this pretty damn closely from the beginning. Everything about the functionality of the gun was discussed pretrial.
This is just bad PR. Baldwin's negligence resulted in a person's death. If I pointed my single action Colt revolver at another human being, cocked the hammer, and pulled the trigger, and my defense was that the person who handed me the gun said that it was unloaded, I'd go to prison.
Not to sound like a leftists here; but, Baldwin has the money. His money is probably the main reason why he's not going to prison while Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is in prison. Just view it as the cost of being a guilty man who went free, and let it fucking go.
