Hello, steemit community, how are you?

Today, when the children approached the school, they went to school and went to school, until the age of 17, well let's start

I will explain to you how to get the seed, how to plant it, transplant it, take care of it, treat it and relevant information about its harvest. The workshop is based on five (5) parts that start from the obtaining of the seed until the harvest of the chili. Thanks to that we are in Puerto Rico we can plant sweet pepper in any day of the year.

Let's hope this workshop is useful and helps them with their sowing of sweet peppers.

Workshop Points:

  • How to get the Sweet Chili Seed.
  • How to sow the seed and transplant it.
  • How to prepare the earth for Sweet Chili.
  • Treatment and care of sweet pepper.
  • Harvest the Chili for consumption.

How to get the Sweet Pepper Seed:

  • My great parents taught me that in order to get the seed we need a sweet red pepper, fresh ripe and healthy. Remove the seeds inside and let them dry 2 to 3 days until it dries in a place at room temperature and without humidity. Those dry seeds are what you will sow. They have to be a healthy Sweet Pepper because that way there is more chance of the children leaving the same. You can also buy it from an organic farmer.

I'll tell you how to sow the seed and transplant it:

  • Once you have the seeds collected, we sow them in the seedbed. We put 3 seeds per cubicle to make sure each one is born. If you are born 3 in one, take it out as soon as possible and transplant it to another space. You put the seedbed in a place that receives enough sun for the seeds to grow. Once the seedling measures 3 "-4" (inches), they will be ready to be transplanted. Depending on the type of seedbed, change the shape that you would take the plant without hurting it. Just remember, do your best to remove the plants gently and without hurting the stem or roots.

How can we prepare the soil for our sweet pepper plant?

  • Well first of all, you should know the Sweet Pepper plants should take 5-6 hours of sun or more. Keep this in mind when you choose the place to plant them. The floor must be 18 "(inches) deep or have a drawer with that depth. So you must break the ground with a pick and get 18 inches or more deep and fill with fertile soil, compost and river sand, (this should be done 1-2 weeks before planting the chili plants for the earth to go acquiring nutrients from the compost). The river sand is so that the water does not accumulate. Once the land is ready with depth, sun hours, compost and so on, it is time to plant the plants. You will sow each Sweet Chili a foot (1 ', 12 inches) away from each other. And in the depth, the earth has to cover the roots and 1 "1/2 (a flea and a half) of the stem to hold the plant well. It works well about 4 "(inches) deep. With this will be enough.

As my parents taught me to the Treatment and care of the Chili:

  • Well my parents taught me that as for water, you should spray enough water to leave the soil moist, without wetting the leaves, but without creating water deposits. Remember that a lot of water will make you vulnerable to diseases. Let's remember that the plant needs 5-6 hours of sun or more. The good thing about Sweet Chili is that it is not very complicated and in a short time you will have your first Sweet Chili. From the transplant it takes 3 months to flower and two more weeks to give its first fruits.

And finally harvest the peppers for consumption:

  • Aji Dulce takes about 3 months to give its first harvest after transplanting. To harvest Sweet Pepper, simply pluck the chili carefully without hurting the branches or the stem. It gives several harvests which, together with the fact that it does not require much care, makes it a great plant to sow in your garden.

Well that was all my parents taught me to plant sweet Aji, they are easy to grow because they do not require much care, just good water irrigation and 5-6 hours of sunshine.
