GARUDA INDONESIA

Garuda Indonesia (PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk; IDX: GIAA) is the national airline of Indonesia. Garuda is the name of Lord Vishnu's ride rides in ancient Indian mythology. In 2007, the airline, along with other Indonesian airlines (including Garuda Indonesia subsidiary Citilink), was banned from flying to Europe because of the incident that hit Garuda Indonesia flight number 200. [4] A year later, the airline received IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification from IATA showing Garuda Indonesia has fulfilled international aviation safety standards. [6] June 1, 2010 became a historic day for Garuda Indonesia, where the reopening of the Amsterdam route was carried out using the Airbus A330-200 with a stopover in Dubai. In June 2012, Garuda Indonesia with Liverpool football club FC, England entered into a cooperation agreement and is now a global sponsor for Liverpool FC.
