Benue people mourn as victims were given mass burial
It is very essential that every epoch some individuals should rise and speak against social ills and religious fanaticism that are evident in its time. A common struggle that is very much evident in this time. It brings bitterness and sorrow to hear of displaced persons in some places in the country, today mass burial was given to the victims killed by Fulani herdsmen on the 1st and 2nd of January 2017.
Today I want weep along side the Benue people as watched Corpses of victims of herdsmen killings being offloaded in IBB Square, Makurdi for the mass burial and funeral rites.
Anybody who watch the mourning for the victims of the attacks on communities in Logo and Guma Local Government Areas of the Benue state.
The dead were honoured today as government offices, markets, and banks were closed today as directed by the Governor. I think that's not all, government should halt this reckless killings that turning to norm in Benue state.
My question is simple, who will speak for us in Benue state in this epoch?
