1989 UN report: 'By 2000, coastal cities will be underwater'
I can remember having a bout of anxiety and insomnia for a couple weeks back in 1987. I was eight.
I was very worried about AIDS and the hole in the ozone layer.
I finally talked to someone about it, and the worries faded. But they never went away.
Until I learned that AIDS is basically a gay disease and the ozone layer's bloody fine.
Now, when I think about it, I get angry. Somewhere, back in the 70's and 80's, a bunch of social engineers decided it would good for lulz to freak people out by telling them they're all gonna die. Someone did that.
And whoever those people are: I hate you. Intensely.
I was just a little kid you bastards and you manipulated my fears and my conscience because you psychopaths want everyone under your one-world globohomo-socialist system of technocratic conformity.
And you're still doing it.
This psychological warfare has been waged against people in the West, or 'developed world', for over thirty years now. The deep state-controlled mainstream media, puppet politicians and crooked academics have been telling us that because we do not live in miserable hovels foraging for firewood we're destroying the planet and deserve to be made poorer.
While China is entering beast-mode fueled by our coal.

By the year 2000, according to the 1989 story:
Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP.
He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.
Well we're here in 2018, Noel, it's nearly October, and I'm sitting here in South-East Queensland at midday in a jacket because it's cold.The riverbank is exactly where it was back when you gave that interview, Noel. There are no 'eco-refugees'. And the only political chaos we have has been caused by psychopathic globalist social engineers like you.
So why would you spread such fear-inducing nonsense to the media back in 1989, Noel? What purpose did it serve?
UNEP is working toward forming a scientific plan of action by the end of 1990, and the adoption of a global climate treaty by 1992. In May, delegates from 103 nations met in Nairobi, Kenya - where UNEP is based - and decided to open negotiations on the treaty next year.
Nations will be asked to reduce the use of fossil fuels, cut the emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases such as methane and fluorocarbons, and preserve the rain forests.
[...]Brown suggested that compensating Brazil, Indonesia and Kenya for preserving rain forests may be necessary.
The European Community is talking about a half-cent levy on each kilowatt-hour of fossil fuels to raise $55 million a year to protect the rain forests, and other direct subsidies may be possible, he said.
The treaty could also call for improved energy efficiency, increasing conservation, and for developed nations to transfer technology to Third World nations to help them save energy and cut greenhouse gas emissions, said Brown.

You mean to tell me that the whole point of all this mind-fuckery was just to flatten the West and raise the Rest in pursuit of some utopian agenda for one-world government?We got our quarterly electricity bill last week, Noel. It was $780. The reason our bill is so outrageously high is not because we live lavishly. Well it seems scaring the shit out of people and destroying the economies of the West has paid off handsomely for Noel. I bet everywhere he goes, people bow and scrape like fawning courtiers. I bet no-one has interrupted Noel or told him he's a slimy crooked jackass for decades.

The truth is, the planet entered a Grand Solar Minimum last year. The climate is getting colder, and within the next few years the famines will start. Recent data indicate that the rate of solar output, measured by sunspots, has dropped more sharply than at any time in thousands of years. Space scientists are also sounding the alarm about temperatures plummeting in Earth's upper atmosphere.
It's almost like the people that people like Noel serve knew this was coming, and wanted it kept quiet. As if they want the chaos and the depopulation. Like as if it's a plan.
But that's just crazy talk.
What's also crazy is what happened at the US National Solar Observatory last month. It's the facility which measures sunspots then sends the data to the University of New Mexico for distribution around the world.
On September 6, FBI agents arrived in black helicopters, raided the facility and closed it down indefinitely.
Two weeks later, a statement was issued saying that the reason the facility was shuttered was that a janitor was using their internet to look at kiddie porn.
That sounds a bit extreme, no?
Don't you think that's weird?

I had a quick look into it online, but most of what came up was just kookspiracy nonsense. But still.
