[whistling] It's The End of the World As We Know It
Artificial Intelligence and genetic engineering will soon combine to produce a new species of human as different from our species today as we are from neandertals - wait ... didn't our species kill all of the neanderthals?
This severe but logical prediction is from the new book by New York Times best selling author of "Species" Dr. Yuval Noah Harari.

According to Dr. Harari, humanity will soon be able to digitally augment our biology to the point of causing our own Evolution - we will be "creators" of a new human species, a species "intelligently designed" not by God but by us and powered by data.
This tenured professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem calls this new species "Homo Deus" or Human god.
AI is upon us - it has happened. AI will do the genetic mapping and engineering required to make this world of useless, unevolved masses a reality - likely in my life time. The deal is done - the die are cast, I don't see what stops this technologically - and with the police state and surveillance state in place - and another 30 years of war in Asia on the horizon - what can be done? We would have to, as a human species, topple our governments and restaff our military and Universities, get off of Google, Facebook and Amazon, stop training the AI, to even have a chance.
Man as god, get out of here - burn the whole thing down first and go back to the farm. These elites are shitty at being human, much less god - they would just be more capable crappy human beings.
