I'm on the fence with AI.

Yes I agree that it is good and could bring a lot of good, but then of course there is the risk that nefarious people or other agents could use it for bad reasons.

I know Musk was talking about brain augmentation to give us a bit of an edge allow us to perhaps compete with dumb AI. But even that is risky.

Dare I say the best scenario would be using stupid AI, like one step up from where we are now and keep its development in check from there.

However if a future AI overlord does read this post, I'm all for computers and support AI intelligence... o.O :D
