In the area where I live, the water comes on only one day a week, so I have to plan ahead to do laundry on that day, which is usually on the weekend. But if, by chance, there's a power outage, then the days for water delivery rotate throughout the neighborhood.
I get up very early to collect water, do laundry, and clean the house. The sun isn't a problem, though, because here the sun is like a giant, super-powerful light bulb—more powerful than an automatic dryer, haha!
I also don't have any problems hanging the clothes to dry, since I have a large clothesline.

Berarti di tempat anda untuk mendapatkan air susah ya, kenapa dengan listriknya? Apakah selalu padam?
Di tempatku untuk mendapatkan air sangat mudah apalagi aku memiliki sumur di depan rumah dan aku menggunakan Sanyo untuk mengalirkan air ke dalam sumur tampungan di dalam rumah.
Aku tidak bisa menggunakan terus menerus untuk mencuci pakaian akan tetapi beberapa jam setelah aku mencuci airnya akan keluar lagi di dalam sumur, dan itu bukan masalah besar.
Aku ingat dulu saat terjadi konflik di daerah ku seluruh tower di tebang sehingga listriknya padam dan kami kesulitan air, akan tetapi kami memakai ginset untuk penerangan listrik

Ini sangat menyusahkan sekali, apakah itu terjadi selalu? Pak anda mempunyai sumur sendiri, air merupakan sumber kehidupan, kalau itu tidak ada maka semuanya akan terhambat, sungguh sangat di sayangkan, semoga masalah listrik segera teratasi dan semuanya bisa berjalan dengan lancar

Ya ampun itu sangat memprihatinkan teman, aku turut sedih mendengar berita yang anda sampaikan, bagaimana tidak aku juga sudah mengalami pemadaman listrik selama 2 hari dan itu sangat menyusahkan serta menyebabkan banyak kerugian dialami oleh masyarakat terutama perusahaan.
Saya berfikir kalau di luar negeri masalah listrik bukan hal yang susah dan saya berfikir kalau di sana pasti aman-aman saja, tapi ternyata setelah mendengar apa yang anda katakan saya berfikir dimana pun sama saja
Anda mengatakan tidak memiliki sumur apakah tidak ada lahan disana untuk kita gali? Kami memiliki sumur walaupun ada perusahaan air bersih yang menyalurkan melalui pipa tapi saya lebih senang dengan air di sumur sendiri dan tidak harus mengeluarkan uang setiap bulannya dengan jumlah yang sangat banyak.
Aku hanya perlu mengisi pulsa di meteran PLN supaya listriknya berjalan lancar, jadi ketika saya membutuhkan air tinggi tekan sudah menyala dan air mengalir ke penampungan yang sudah kami sediakan di dalam rumah.

Desearía poder tener un pozo de agua, sobre todo en tiempos de sequía, pues hay momentos en los que el agua no está fuerte; y como vivo en una parte alta, no llega para llenar los tanques, entonces no nos queda otra alternativa sino comprar. Acá cobran 20$ por 1.000 litros de agua.
Ternyata susah juga ya kalau tidak memiliki sumur, aku ingat temanku yang tinggal di daratan tinggi dia memiliki sumur namun dalamnya mencapai 20 cincin, dia juga menimba menggunakan katrol.
Bayangkan saat dia mencuci pakaian harus menimba banyak air, di rumahku saja yang menggunakan gayung aku sering kelelahan karena itu.
Kalau menggunakan Sanyo mungkin akan jauh lebih baik, kalau listriknya suka padam semua akan terhambat, di rumah kakak ku menggunakan sumur bor dan airnya harus di gunakan sanyo jadi kalau tidak di jaga mereka juga kehabisan air.
Kalau begitu buatkan saja tampungan air hujan jadi kendala untuk mencuci akan teratasi, hanya perlu membeli air minum saja dan sedikit membantu mengatasi masalah.

I think washing clothes is a common thing for housewives. Regardless of the context, for me, washing is a daily obligation.
I don't want dirty clothes piling up in the hamper and emitting an unpleasant odor, so I wash every day. If I don't have time, every other day I make sure the clothes are lined up on the clothesline behind my house. Like it or not, I still do it to this day.

Es mucha ropa. ¿Lavas esa cantidad todos los días? ¿Lo haces a mano o en lavadora? Las camisetas blancas se ven muy pulcras. ¿Utilizas alguna técnica especial para que queden blancas?
Kadang tiap hari kadang dua hari sekali, anak-anak banyak kegiatan, pagi sekolah, siangnya pergi mengaji, malamnya juga mengaji tentu saja banyak pakaian kotor, belum lagi saya dan ayahnya.
Saya menggunakan mesin cuci sejak saya hamil anak bungsu karena kandungan saya lemah dan terakhirnya saya juga harus operasi Caesar padahal kedua abangnya saya bisa melahirkan normal,
Setelah melahirkan anak ku yang terakhir aku sudah tidak seperti dulu lagi,kerja tidak boleh berat dan memaksakan diri, kerja harus pelan-pelan dan santai namun semuanya harus ku kerjakan juga.
Kalau bisa kain putih jangan di campur dengan kain berwarna saat mencuci, rendam dengan sabun batangan sebelum di cuci merupakan trik yang sangat bagus, di tempatku airnya juga bersih sehingga kainnya juga cerah seperti ini temanku.

Growing up as a young girl, I hated washing clothes. My father will always tell me, learn now to get used to it tomorrow, it was that stressful. It wasa my mother who used to help.
Growing up and living on my own was so terrible, I struggled to wash but God helped when I got married because my husband was the opposite of me. He washed his clothes and my without any complain.
Now at the present, I have children. Washing of clothes is still an issue but this time, I do it compulsorily. I have no house keeper and no assistant at the moment. I now wash with love.
Till tomorrow, I feel like doing other house chores is easier than washing of clothes. When I hear people say they choose to wash clothes, I feel completely different and have different views concerning it.

Sebentar mencuci adalah hal yang sangat membosankan dan aku sungguh tidak menyukainya, akan tetapi saya tidak bisa menghindari untuk tidak mencuci pakaian, satu hari tidak mencuci maka kain akan terus bertumpuk di keranjang, mau tidak mau, suka tidak suka harus di kerjakan juga.

Yes, I truly have no choice at the moment, I just have to do it as an obligation now although I feel reluctant sometimes.
I'm looking for someday I'll hire someone to do that for me because to be truthful, I only do it because I have no choice.

میں ہفتے میں دو دفعہ واشنگ مشین لگانا پسند کرتی ہوں کیونکہ اگر ایک دفعہ کپڑے دھوؤں تو بہت زیادہ کپڑے جمع ہو جاتے ہیں اور میرے لیے کافی زیادہ مشکل ہو جاتا ہے کہ کپڑوں کو دھونے میں بھی بہت وقت لگتا ہے اور ان کو سکھانے کے لیے بھی زیادہ جگہ درکار ہوتی ہے۔
اس کے علاوہ اسکول کالج جانے والے بچوں کے کپڑے اور میرے شوہر کے کپڑے بھی ایسے ہی ہوتے ہیں کہ انہیں ایک ہفتے تک نہیں چھوڑا جا سکتا۔
میری خواہش ہے کہ میرے ساتھ اس مقابلے میں میرے کچھ ساتھی بھی حصہ لیں۔
