LETS LOOK AT AFRICA IN A BIT

(PLEASE FORGIVE MY LITTLE DIGRESSION, ITS ALL PART OF THE STORY)

Africa according to worldometers.info is inhabited by an estimated 1.2 billion people, majority of which are blacks.

We have quite a lot in our History books, from Slave trade to colonial era, to the early years of political unrest across different nations, tribal wars, poverty, corrupt leaders, I can go on and on. This many down side of our History has affected Africans and even the way people view us. We are without argument the most blessed with natural resource, yet the most under developed. There are a lot of our downside to talk about, to say the list, the recent comment from the President of the United States calling Africa a 'shit hole'. The pictures they paint to you about Africa might look like the picture below.

THE AFRICA I KNOW

In a few seconds let me recreate the picture of my great continent. Do you know that reading and writing was invented in Africa? Details can be found in the book WHATS WRONG WITH BEING BLACK by Matthew Ashimolowo. Do you know that the fastest computer was invented by a Nigerian? Do you know that Africa was one of the leading continents to make contributions in the area of MANAGEMENT as seen in the building of the PYRAMID of Egypt. We have seen young Africans leave the shores of Africa to become prominent names in global affairs. Africa is rising and in few years from now we would become the most enviable and desirous continent to live in.

Africa is evolving! The continent which has made other continent rich might be poor today, but we are evolving. The thirst for knowledge among the young Africans today is AMAZING!

If you are an investor looking for where to invest and you are not considering Africa then I think you should rethink. Africa has high untapped and unused natural resource scattered all over the continent. From the crude oil in my country Nigeria to the gold in Ghana, I can go on and on.

The Africa i want you to see is the one that looks like the picture below.

AFRICA HAS POTENTIALS AND THAT’S OUR QUE

The thing about Africa that interests me is the potentials that we have and the desire of the young Africans to jump on every opportunity that presents its self to make life better for themselves and their continent. This is why I believe that STEEEMIT has great potentials to create a large market for their platform in Africa. In a couple of months I have introduced not less than 100-200 people to STEEMIT through my social media influence and believe me, a lot of people here in my country are very eager to join the community. They want to learn and be a part of this.

Compared to te reception Facebook at reception, this is simply amazing. Young Africans are even opening support offices for the community, like my friend @vic-essien who he and team just opened their Uyo hub, developing exchangers where Steem Dollars can be converted to local currencies without third parties.

We are using this platform as well as a for of financial empowerment in our continent for those who are extremely talented at what they do.! We would crowd this space soon an show the world the beauty of BLACK.

This is simply amazing. Few years from now, with the effort of this young vibrant Africans, we would STEEM up Africa.
