RE: HOW TO BECOME AN AFRICAN ENTREPRENEUR

in #africa7 years ago

The "African entrepreneur starter pack" is rather interesting...
I cannot say for the rest of Africa but these are my views based on my experiences in my country Nigeria.

Stubbornness: well stubbornness will not take you far because no one will invest with an arrogant entrepreneur.

Do not trust/put confidence in anyone no matter how close: an entrepreneur cannot succeeded alone, no business you have to delegate , you have to entrust

Do not try to convince or carry others along: You have to show determination, and part of your success is the number of people you can bring in and win over.

Do not copy foreign ideas/strategies and try to implement them directly : on this one all i can say is no idea is novel.

Be 85% original : this is very relative

cheers!

Loool.....nice one
Tho stubbornness is quite different from arrogance, stubbornness is persistence with extra determination...at least the way I see.
Entrepreneur cannot stand alone, as a matter of fact no one can, when you repose your trust, you lean on that person, a betrayal makes you fall..... most people aren't good at picking themselves up.
The problem with trying to win people over is that they might win you over, they might be able to influence you with their doubts and excuses..... it's better to win them over by your success later on

Thanks for your interest and interaction..... Together we would build the dream Africa
