Is migrating a blog from Wordpress to Ghost a good idea?

Hello Everybody reading this post!

So, I have a blog which I keep writing for quiet a long time.
However, since I got a small hacker based problem with it recently (a Bangladesh-based ass**t used a vulnerability in the AutoOptimize plugin I was using to gain control of it).
I managed to fend him off, but while I was reading about how blogging works now I read a lots of good things about Ghost. It looks great, works great, uses Markdown, etc. etc.
But does anyone here has done it and confirms by his experience that it was a good move?
