I tip my hat

While I was checking the ranks to see how many points I need to be in the top 100, I noticed this little ad on the @steemmonsters site.

The "funny" thing is I remember Jarunik as I voted for him when I was holding Ark.

But this is not really the important part.

What I think is really impressive is that as far as I can tell kind of a bigshot of another crypotcurrency is sponsoring Ark for the Top finishers

Does he do that because he loves Steem and @steemmonsters? Probably not. He is getting people interested in the crypot of his choice by giving them free crypto.

Back in the days, when no one knew what Bitcoin was and no one cared, people got free BTC for attending a speech about it. To make them care they need to have some.

Steem can be earned "easy" and you dont even have to pay for it to get started, which is unique as far as I know. That should get people interested. Of course it is easier if the price is going crazy to convince people getting started here and that it is worth their time but hey...I dont think the people realized how much they were giving away when they gave Bitcoin away to their listeners.

My ads I get in steemit are all about meeting russian or asian women.

could be worse :-)

I know this is not the same thing exactly, but your post did make me remember faucets being such a thing.

I still sometimes load up a reddit tipbot with Dogecoin and just randomly drop a bunch all around for no reason. There was a Steem reddit and Twitter bot being worked on https://steemtipper.com/ . People definitely sometimes need to be given some to see how or why these cryptocurrencies work so well and pretty straightforward after the quick learning curve. Crypto Greeting Cards are still one of the best ideas out there imo. I believe a few Steemians did art for some of the cards. Great gift idea for nerds and youth!

I never got familiar with reddit but I ve got told they tip with dogecoin sometimes.

Crypto Greetings Cards sound pretty cool though maybe I will have to send out some of those.

I agree that crypto maybe seems complicated first to use but after doing some transactions it is pretty easy.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
