Never Again

Six minutes is all it took for 1 person to take 17 lives on a day meant for celebrating love. This horrible act took place in the Parkland Florida High School (Majory Stoneman Douglas High School). A school is a building meant for the education of our youth to guide them in the right direction for their future.. but what good is an education for thousands of students who we have lost in school shootings because they now have no future.

On March 24th the students of MSD High School organized the March for Our Lives in Washington D.C. in protest of gun violence and to implement better gun control. Their speeches were incredible and I will never forget them.

One of my biggest inspirations, Demi Lovato made an appearance & sung her song Skyscraper. Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, & a few other artists were there too To permorm and say what they felt they needed to. It feels good to know that these people understand what I do and millions of others across the country.

I can only hope our politicians and many others across the U.S. start to truly understand the Never Again Movement. Yes, we want better gun control, but this doesn’t mean taking away the second amendment. The second amendment does not apply to the weapons we are talking about in this case especially considering how outdated it is. We simply want people to be safe in schools & all other public places.
