Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Thursday, and a very warm welcome to my report. As always thank you for stopping by, am just about to break down my stepping of the day and also share some of the trending stories that caught my eye.
Let's take it away 💨.
I began my day with a bit of walking around the neighbourhood, heavily cloudy morning as i made my way.
Next I was back indoors, did a few stretches and continued with the usual house chores.
My next stepping came at around noon, going out for groceries to get the lunch going. The sun🌞 was finally out for a while but with a cold breeze. Then followed by some annoying rain☔.
I did finish off the day, with a quick walk around the park this evening.
So that was the stepping and now let's get into the global trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, it was day 12 of the blockade on aid. No food, medicine, fuel and other supplies going in😿. Palestinians are waiting for the outcome of talks that are ongoing in Doha Qatar.
In the other war, Putin has said he was open to the idea of a 30 day ceasefire but there were issues that need to be discussed. He claims he wants long term peace.
Meanwhile, US envoy Steve Witkoff landed in Moscow for talks with Putin.
Across the pond,Trump suggested that Ukraine may have to lose some of it's territory as they try to figure out a way to bring lasting peace🙀.
Speaking of Trump, a group of Jewish protesters have gathered in the lobby of Trump tower in New York. They are protesting the arrest of a Palestinian student from Colombia university🙀. They say he has been detained unlawfully for exercising his rights. To make matters worse the govt is now trying to deport him, though he is a legal resident🙀.
Not far off, Canada trending as G7 leaders are meeting in Quebec. I wonder if Trump will be attending amid those tariff rows.
Today Trump vowed a 200% retaliatory tariff on European wines and spirits🙀.
The warning came after EU announced retaliatory tariffs on $28 billion of US goods in response to US levies on steel and aluminium. Trade war shenanigans😹.
Finally, Tonight, the night sky is about to deliver a rare spectacle. A total lunar eclipse 🌑 .As the earth moves between sun and moon, the moon will take on a deep red shade. It's called blood moon🔴, observable from the earth's western hemisphere. North and south America will be able to view the whole process.
The most recent blood moon occurred on November 8, 2022. The next one is expected on September 7-8, 2025, and it will be visible across Asia, Africa, Australia and parts of Europe. Fun facts😹.
