Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Sunday, Happy new year 😊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the second Sunday of 2025 and as always a day of gratitude and appreciating all the good things in our lives 💯.
For me it's been another ordinary day and it's now time to break down how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
As always thank you for reading and let's dive in 💨.
I began my day with some stretching moves before heading out for a walk around the neighborhood and park. The sun 🌞 was making for a beautiful day though the breeze was quite chilly.
After about 20 minutes, I was back indoors ready to deal with the usual house chores including laundry and cooking.
The afternoon saw me indoors checking out some YouTube videos and also trending news from around the world.
There were also some interesting matches in the EPL. Man U knocked Arsenal out of the FA cup in thrilling match that was decided on penalties😹.
My final walk was in the evening, dark and cloudy rainy sunset. I walked for a short while around the neighbourhood before ending up at the park then back home.
With that out of the way, let's have a look at what was trending around the world.
In Gaza , it's 100 days of the Israeli siege in Northern part of Gaza. The area very close to famine as no food aid or medicines is let in. Over 5000 killed since the siege began and thousands more trapped in the area.
meanwhile, Biden and Netanyahu have had a phone call. Biden insisting on an immediate ceasefire and the return of Israeli captives.
Also trending, middle east and European diplomats were meeting in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, discussing on how to lift sanctions and enable the new Syrian administration run efficiently.
Another follow up meeting will be held in Brussels Belgium at the end of the month.
In Europe, exit polls show Croatian president Zoran Milanovic headed for a win in presidential elections. Congratulations 🥳 🎊.
Then protests in Romania as people demanded the presidential vote be reinstated after a court stopped it.
More protests, this time in Belgrade Serbia, where protesters held a moment of silence in rememberance for victims of a railway station roof collapse 😿.
Across the pond in the US, California trending as the wild fires kept going🙀. One of four major blazes has been contained. However, wind gusts could reach up to 120km/h making things harder for firefighters on the ground.
Across the border, Mexico trending as the first female president celebrated 100 days in office. Her approval ratings still remain high.
Finally, thousands of migrants are rushing to the US border before Trump takes office🙀
