TGIF 🎊🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. The weekend is dawning down on us
I trust your day is going well 💯, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.

So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. A chilly morning but quite sunny🌞.
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
The lovely sunshine 🌞 continued during the day, and temps jumped up, it was wonderful .
The evening saw me out for my final walk around the park before heading back indoors.
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
Starting off in Gaza, the mass murder continued with the killing of 17 Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas positions😿.
According to the UN, 36 Israeli airstrikes in the past 3 weeks have killed only women and children🙀. The attacks target residential buildings and tents housing internally displaced people. The civilians are really bearing the brunt of the bombs and not Hamas😿.
In Israel, the reservists are continuing their appeal for the bombing of Gaza to stop so as to safely free the 59 Israeli captives still being held in Gaza. Netanyahu quickly dismissing them🙀.
In the other war, US special envoy, Steve Witkoff has met president Putin in St. Petersburg. Lets hope the diplomacy will work to end the attacks on Ukraine💯.
Across the pond in the US, a judge in Louisiana has ruled that the govt can deport US green card holder Mahmoud Khalil for his role in leading pro Palestinian student protests in 2024🙀. US immigration officials arrested and detained him on 8th March.
His lawyers will definitely be appealing that decision but nothing is sure, Trump admin is hell bent on deporting him and may well go ahead before that appeal. They ignored court orders and deported some people to El Salvador a few weeks ago. He has a pregnant wife, am not sure what her fate will be. He will probably be back in the US after Trump's term ends.
Also trending, US -Iran talks will be held tomorrow in Oman. The matter at hand is the Iranian nuclear program. Iran have been enriching uranium for decades and claim they are not looking to make a nuclear weapons and their program is for energy purpose only😹. Oh wow, am sure they would be happy to have nuclear weapons.
Finally, the tariff war between the US and China kept going. After Trump hit China with 145% tariff, China has retaliated with 125 % tariff on US goods. They have said the US won't intimidate them and have formally written a complaint letter to the WTO. Meanwhile Trump is waiting for China to come to the table for talks😹.
