I love the A-Team!
And we also have a Wii (and a WiiU and many other consoles) but we haven't played them for a while. They don't want to read game discs anymore... probably because of the fire situation back in our previous rental (our apartment was full of smoke and the soot got everywhere). We still haven't screwed the consoles open and cleaned them. Being lazy sucks.
Open them, clean them, softmod them. No excuse for playing from those lousy DVD-s. You can rip your games to a harddrive or a memory stick if you wish and play straight from this medium. You can buy a tri-wing screwdriver to open the Wii from Oomipood cheap.
Oh, I don't like modded things. I like them in the original state.
My brother used to mod GTA Vice City on PC, yeah, that was funny - changing a car into a shopping cart or toilet seat, but in the end I'm not really into mods.
Too bad that I cannot talk you out of it. Softmodding adds another life to that obsolete console that no-one touches anymore, giving it nice speed boost on loading times and comfort of use.
