My Actifit Report Card: February 3 2020
Monday began with a pickup at the pharmacy. Then mail distribution. People were unusually pleasant today. At least sometimes. A little annoyed by the rain. After dinner, my friends and I attended an impressive lecture on Chernobyl from a man who had been there several times. And he told and showed what he had seen and saw there. Interesting but scary. Photo from today is a view of the evening moon.
Pondělí začalo vyzvednutím léku v lékárně. Pak roznos pošty. Lidé byli dnes neobvykle příjemní. Aspoň někdy. Trochu zlobil déšť. Po večeři jsme s přáteli absolvovali působivou přednášku o Černobylu od člověka, jež se tam byl podívat vícekrát. A vyprávěl a ukazoval, co tam zažil a viděl. Zajímavé, leč děsivé. Foto z dneška je pohled na večerní měsíc.
Taková děsivá katastrofa bude ještě hodně dlouho fascinovat lidi. Neměla by být zapomenuta, je to varování...

To určitě, však se s ní lidstvo bude vypořádávat ještě tisíce let, než nastane poločas rozpadu těch některých radioaktivních prvků.
