Actifit Daily: Charity Display Enhancements + New iOS Developer + New Server (& Our Daily Updates)

Charity Display Enhancements

To better support charity information display, we have made several changes to the posts relating to charity, as posted via actifit app, but also on our actifit.io website, as follows:

Report Changes: Whenever you post a new charity post, two pieces of information will be sent out and displayed (on actifit.io, but also on your favorite Steem front end).

1. Automated tag: A new tag labelled #actifit-charity will be auto-added to every charity post, for better identification of such posts. This way, you could easily go to the trending #actifit-charity and see all tags there. Here is an example post which was chosen to have charity rewards
   
   
   
2. Automated charity text: To easily identify, from within the content, that the author has this post set as charity, we also appended a text right before the signature of the post, that highlights this post being charity, but also which charity the AFIT rewards are going to. Actifit.io Activity Page Changes: We also made changes to accommodate a better display of charity info. This is easily accessible from within the actifit.io/activity page for all activity, but also from the user's profile using the profile activity link (For example: https://actifit.io/activity/kenny-crane)

New iOS Developer

Our iOS version has been lagging on updates compared to our Android version, this is due to our latest iOS developer being no longer available.
Today we are taking a step further via hiring a new IOS developer, who will be paid in FIAT, to be able to assist with bringing our iOS version up to speed, and to continue the development work in parallel with all other effort we are doing.
The hiring just took take place earlier today. We are aiming for this to be a move forward to providing some major functionality update within the month of January.

New Server

As Actifit grows further, we find the need to use more servers to accommodate the load, as our voting cycles are requiring some more restarts and our API calls are getting more frequent.
So today we setup a new server instance dedicated for our voting rounds, so as to minimize any potential down times and/or restarts.
While both this and the new hire both mean more cost to the project, we are fully committed to Actifit and its success, and rely on the support of our growing amazing community!

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.

Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.

Add to that, and a key important item that will benefit Actifit by receiving more delegation, is the ability to claim and create more user accounts.

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 277,000 = 36.10 AFITs

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
