Have you ever encountered deadly attack of acid re-flux or acidity and have tried various medicines to curb those attacks. . Banana - Banana is extremely nutritious and rich in potassium which is known to keep acidity levels to normal. When you ever encounter acidity eat an overripe banana.

. Cold Milk - Milk has high content of calcium, which absorbs the excess acid produced and thus prevents acid build up. Cold milk provides instant relief to burning sensation that one feels during acidity. If a spoon of ghee is added to milk it will be more effective.

. Tulsi - Tulsi is generally available in all houses in India and is is very effective for acidity. Chewing tulsi leaves stimulates the stomach to produce more mucous. It reduces the effects of gastric acids as it contains anti-ulcer properties. So chewing 3-5 leaves of tulsi gives instant relief from acidity.
