hello everyone,
i am so happy to be writing the third task of my achivement,i have already written the other two tasks and have learnt a new thing in the process.This achievement 3 specifically handles our content etiquette which is also know as Plagiarism. i will be talking about the following in this post:
*what is plagiarism
*Types of plagiarism.
*Punishment for plagiarism and,
*How to prevent it.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
this can be defined as the forming or imitating of someone's idea or work in other words,
plagiarism is the passing of a person's work in your work without the full knowledge of it.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM:

*SELF PLAGIARISM
this is a type of plagiarism whereby a person submits the same piece of home work or combines parts of their works without the permission of the lecturers or professors involved.

*DIRECT PLAGIARISM.
this type of plagiarism is when a person's motive is strictly on copying examples or work of professor or somebody's work without using any quotation mark.

*ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM.
this is a type of plagiarism whereby a person forgets or neglects to use the right quotes from the right sources and also the correct sentence structures or format .

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
this is a type of plagiarism whereby a person gets texts from a place(source) without using a different structural and general meaning.this can also be called an unintentional form of plagiarism.

PUNISHMENT FOR PLAGIARISM.

Legit punishment
there are some legitimate consequence a person found cheating or guilty of plagiarism will face like paying of fines or jail sentence.
Also when professor or student is found in plagiarism, This so called act can have a bad academic reputation to a college.

*HOW TO PREVENT PLAGIARISM

This can be prevented by applying good studying skill in your academic field.This is not just trying to change some text so that the reader will not know what you have done rather it is all about your academic skill to make a good and nice work.
