Introduction:

My name is Ahtsham Mursleen. I am from Islamabad, the Capital City of Pakistan. I have completed my early education in South Punjab, Pakistan. I have completed my 12th standard from South Punjab in 2007.

University Life:

I have got admission to BBA (Hons) in International Islamic University, Islamabad in September 2007. It was very difficult for me to adjust to a new city, with new people. This was the first time when I left my beloved family. I made new friends in the hostel. I met new people from different regions of Pakistan. I became new friends, which were from Khyber Pukhtoon Khawa Province. I learned their culture, values, Norms.

I spent four years at International Islamic University, Islamabad. I did my final year project on Cherat Cement Company, a large cement manufacturing company in Pakistan. I did my final year project on the SAP ERP Module of Supply Chain Management. It was a wonderful experience for my final year Project. I had visited Cherat Cement Company, Learn their process of Supply Chain Management.

Cherat Cement Company is situated in Nowshera City, of Khyber Pukhton Khwa, Province. We have spent very grateful time in Plant of Cherat Cement company. I have completed my bachelor in Business Administration in 2011.

First Jobs:

After my graduation, I did some small jobs, to meet my expense. I did my first job as a management subject teacher at Iqra technical College. I served one year in Iqra technical college and taught business Math and Business Management subjects. My first earning was 2000 PKR rupees. I was very happy at that time.

CFA Journey:

After one year, I got admission to CFA (Charted Financial Analyst) program in 2012. Due to the heavy burden of studies, I left my job and gave full time and effort to my CFA studies. I cleared my first Level in 2013 and second level in 2014. I was very excited when I passed my CFA Level 2. I have become a partially certified professional in the Investment and finance field.

Second Job Experience:

I started my second full-time Job, in AXON Communication as a Junior Financial Analyst in 2015. I served in AXON one year, after that, I Started Job in Prism Communication as a Senior Accountant and Analyst. I learned a lot from Prism Communication and learned to design a complete Chart of Accounts.

Supply Chain Management & Finance Journey:

After Prism Communication, I got a third Job in 2017, in Sparco Paints, a large Paint Manufacturing company in Pakistan. I worked in the Finance department initially, after that my manager transfer me to the Supply Chain department. In the Supply Chain department, I performed different tasks and worked in different areas of the Supply chain e.g., warehousing, demand Planning, Supplier relationship Management and Logistics. After Sparco, I Joined a KOPAK Paint, Korean Paint Manufacturing company as Supply Chain and Finance Manager. I left this job due to covid-19.

Skills:

I learned a lot of skills in my long job journey, such as Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Reporting, Vendor Selection, Warehouse Management, Database Analytics, Data Visualization and Demand Planning.
