'Aceh Thanks The World' Monument in Banda Aceh

"Aceh Thanks The World" the monument located in Blang Padang pitch, Banda Aceh, is a symbol of gratitude to 53 countries and the participated world community in the reconstruction of Aceh after the December 2004 Tsunami disaster.

Each participating country is made with state name inscriptions, country flags, and sayings 'Thank You and Peace' in the language of each country.

December 26 this year is the 14th anniversary of the Aceh earthquake and tsunami disaster.

And the following photos are the aircraft monuments Dakota RI-001 Seulawah donated by the Acehnese people to the government of the Republic of Indonesia to help the independence struggle. The aircraft was used as the presidential plane of the Republic of Indonesia. Replica of Dakota RI-001 Seulawah is also located in Blang Padang pitch, Banda Aceh.
