Rapa'i is aceh custom
Rapa'i geleng is a genuine Acehnese Dance originally derived from the location of the southern part of Aceh, Manggeng, which is now the Southwest Aceh district. Rapa'i Geleng dance was raised by a native in South Aceh. Rapa'i Geleng included Dances movement which symbolizes a form of cohesiveness in terms of cooperation, togetherness, and cohesiveness in the community environment. This dance tells the diversity of the people in the poetry and the rhythms that are sung, uniform and basic movements derived from elements of Meuseukat Dance.
Some time ago I watched firsthand how they hit rapa'i with compact, resulting in a very harmonious rhythm. The poems they chant are also very meaningful. There are so many messages and history in the poem. Little I write the contents of the poem
Alhamdulilah Pujo Keu Tuhan
Nyang Peujeut Alam Langet Ngon Donya
Teuma Seulaweut Ateuh Janjongan
Panghulee Alam Rasul Ambiya
Nanggroe Aceh nyo Tempat loun lahee
Bak Ujoung Pantee Pulo Sumatra

They simultaneously kicked off the stage by sitting kneeling. The movement followed by a rhythmic rhythmic beat, slow, long and then changed quickly in accompaniment with gestures that are still sitting position kneeling, swerving left and right. Rapid movement is getting faster and faster.
In essence, the motion rhythm of a rolling dance consists only of four levels; slow, fast, very fast and silent. The four levels of motion are the miniature characteristics of the people who inhabit the most end-positions of the island of Sumatra, containing messages of the pattern of resistance against all forms of assault on the existence of their religious, political, social and cultural life.
