Fenomena Remaja Jaman ‘Now’: Suatu Kajian Bahasa pada Pemain Mobile Legends [The Teenage Phenomenon of the 'Now' Age: A Language Study on Mobile Legends Players]

Saya sangat terusik dengan sekelompok remaja yang duduk di warung kopi. Remaja ini diprediksikan masih duduk di bangku sekolah ataupun para mahasiswa baru. Warung kopi di Aceh biasanya merupakan tempat berdiskusi dan berbagi informasi, baik seputar tentang politik, jual beli, ataupun masalah judi sekalipun. Akan tetapi, akhir-akhir ini, kenyamanan duduk di warung kopi terasa sedikit terusik dengan hadirnya remaja berponsel cerdas.   Sebagai alumni jurusan bahasa, ada beberapa hal yang menarik dari amatan saya terhadap para remaja tersebut. Remaja ini sibuk bermain HP memainkan permainan Mobile Legends. Hasil amatan saya, ada beberapa persolan bahasa yang khususnya menarik untuk saya tulis. Persoalan bahasa tersebut, jujur baru saya kenal dan dalam istilah bahasa disebut dengan ragam bahasa slang. Slang ini berarti bahasa yang dipakai oleh komunitas tertentu dan tidak diketahui oleh orang banyak. Adapun hasil pengamatan saya mengenai persoalan bahasa adalah sebagai berikut.    

1. Kamu jangan asyik “Nyampah”    

Kata kunci pada contoh satu adalah nyampah. Nyampah di sini saya ketahui maksudnya setelah saya tanyakan kepada remaja tersebut berarti membunuh lawan tanpa bertarung terlebih dahulu. Nympah merupakan konotasi orang yang tidak berjuang tetapi menikmati hasil dari perjuangan tersebut.    

2. Nanti kalau ada waktu, kita “Mabar” lagi ya!   

Mabar merupakan akronim dari main bareng (Mabar). Biasanya, untuk menaikkan level, para remaja ini akan mabar agar mudah menaklukan lawan.    

3. Woi, jangan “Farming” aja. Bantui aku kek!   

Farming merupakan membunuh monster hutan dalam permainan Mobile Legends. Farming ini bertujuan untuk menaikkan level dan mendapatkan uang untuk membeli item pada permaian tersebut. Akan tetapi, para pemain yang asyik farming akan melupakan tugas utama, yakni menghacurkan tower musuh.

The Teenage Phenomenon of the 'Now' Age: A Language Study on Mobile Legends Players]

I was deeply disturbed by a group of teenagers sitting in a coffee shop. This teenager is predicted to still be in school or new students. Coffee shops in Aceh are usually a place to discuss and share information, whether about politics, buying and selling, or gambling problems though. However, lately, the comfort of sitting in a coffee shop was a little disturbed by the presence of smart-celled adolescents.

As an alumnus of language majors, there are some interesting things from my observation of the teenagers. This teenager is busy playing HP playing the Mobile Legends game. My observation result, there are some language persolan especially interesting for me to write. The issue of the language, honestly new I am familiar with and in the language term is called a variety of slang languages. This slang means a language that is used by a particular community and is not known by many people. The results of my observations on the language problem are as follows.

1. You do not fun "Nyampah"

The keyword in example one is a trash. Waste here I know what it means after I ask the teenager is to kill the opponent without fighting first. Nympah is the connotation of people who do not struggle but enjoy the results of the struggle.

2. Later if there is time, we "Mabar" again yes!

Mabar is an acronym of playing together (Mabar). Usually, to raise the level, these teenagers will be ready to conquer the opponent.

3. Woi, do not "Farming" aja. Help me!

Farming is killing forest monsters in the Mobile Legends game. Farming aims to raise the level and earn money to buy items on the game. However, the players who are engrossed in farming will forget the main task, namely to destroy the enemy tower.
