Illegalized Abortion
Kennedy is leaving. Republicans are in charge of the Presidency and Congress, and they have a key cult of White Evangelical Christians in robotic support of whatever they want as an agenda, as long Republicans in turn support the White Evangelical Christian agenda. At the top of their agenda is Roe v Wade.
Roe v Wade will end.
So, what does it mean? In rough estimate, it means that many States will start making abortion ILLEGAL (including the day-after-pill). This is the first step, and yes, it will take some time, and there will be battles.
If I'm not mistaken, it will also open the door to Federal Laws to make Abortion Illegal. There are huge ramifications here.
So, what do freedom loving people do? (yes, this definition describes people that want people to be able to choose their belief systems, and also choose what they do with their own bodies).
First, we keep fighting. By Political, Social, Legal , and Economic action; we keep fighting for what's "right" in a free Country.
More controversially, if Abortion is made Illegal, we KNOW that there will still be "demand" for the "product," and there will be health consequences for communities of people, including deaths.
It needs to be as safe as possible.
Day-after-pills absolutely need to be as easy to find as Meth and Heroin. There's a role here for the Darknet and Cryptocurrencies.
Tools and information need to be available to the public like they have never been before.
Ideally, top searches on Google will lead to detailed instructions on how to perform a last-ditch process. Yes, women will die in the attempt. The absolute purpose of making information available to the public is to minimize risk to that public. (They will try to censor this information, even if it means degrading the quality of the information by inserting disinformation into the mix)
Of course, all viewpoints will be represented online, including those from Evangelical Christians. Nobody is going to force anyone to have an abortion. It isn't about convincing someone to have an Abortion; it's about making sure the best information is available for those that DO make the choice. It IS their choice.
Items that have dual use are going to be identified and documented, and many will be sold on Amazon.com.
Is it an ugly concept? Yes, it certainly is. Abortions should be performed by professionals in a safe and legal setting; not with makeshift tools in a household setting. If, however, they take away the freedom that allows for that better option, the answer MUST be to create the best environment as possible, even if those actions are illegal.
