Its finally time to continue our adventure in India if you want to see what happened before this check it out here, This is a generation play, which means the save game jumps back and forth between Isnochys and I everytime our character dies! Its pretty fun and mysterious!

Looks like @isnochys actually managed to secure us some territory! I'm proud of you! You managed to win a war!

The marriage my character had was not really that useful for me, so I decided to divorce and instead use the grace I had with the chinese emperor to request a marriage with a chinese princess! This gives me a nice prestige bonus + some extra troops to use in case of emergency!

image.png

I guess this is what I get for divorcing my previous wife and complaining about her... Yes I am now married to a hunchback chinese princess... At least I get all the other bonuses but this will not fare well for our descendants! I will have to get some healthy concubines!

image.png

One of my concubines got pregnant and we had a daughter but she was sickly! Thankfully she survived!
ck2_5.png

Oh no! My concubine died while giving birth and even worse, the child is sickly hopefully he survives...or not his attributes are trash anyways and we can do better I guess? (This game can make you pretty cynical lol)

ck2_6.png

Some guy on the other side of the realm wants to fights me over a county I didn't even knew I had... Well he will suffer, because he clearly didn't noticed I have more troops than him lol.
ck2_7.png

Wtf? The guy that declared war on me committed suicide, lost half of his realm and left his 8 year old son in charge of the war? I didn't even manage to start a single battle and the guy committed suicide!?
ck2_8.png

Our Liege rewarded us with a Raja(duchy) for our loyalty! Amazing! Our borders grow even in times of peace!

image.png

I was looking around the map to look for anomalies and it looks like a band of Danish invaders going for England missed the tiny island by a bit and ended up invading and taking over north western Spain? Interesting Alt-history scenario for sure lol
ck2_10.png

Time to claim another piece of the coast, soon our initial goal of taking over all the west coast of the realm will be completed!
ck2_11.png

Our liege request a realm peace! We have to finish this war in 3 months or else everything would have been in vain! I think it can be done but we will lose a ton of manpower in the process! (I couldn't do it... The realm peace was enforced before I could finish the war...)

image.png

Its getting late and the forced realm peace will last 60 months so, I rather end it here for today! I manage to grow the realm by pure luck thanks to our liege giving us some lands for our loyalty!
ck2_13.png

I'll continue our quest for the coast on the next one!

Sort:

1 war?
I did win 3!

Bloody realm peace it is always at the wrong time!

And you didn't even manage to get one single coast province yet..shame on you!
:)

Look into the Traderoutes map options, how many silk road trade posts we got so far. with me we had 2, there could be another one inland.

How am I doing, your heir?
anything special, that sticks out?
Hunchback one legged sickling?
Or great prince of darkness?
:))

And I can't believe, Austrasia did exist!
It sounds surreal

Austrasia
Austrasia was a territory which formed the northeastern section of the Merovingian Kingdom of the Franks during the 6th to 8th centuries. It was centred on the Meuse, Middle Rhine and the Moselle rivers, and was the original territory of the Franks, including both the so-called Salians and Rhineland Franks, which Clovis I conquered after first taking control of the bordering part of Roman Gaul, now northern France, which is sometimes described in this period as Neustria.
In AD 567, Austrasia became a separate kingdom within the Frankish kingdom and was ruled by Sigebert I. In the 7th and 8th centuries it was the powerbase from which the Carolingians, originally mayors of the palace of Austrasia, took over the rule of all Franks, all of Gaul, most of Germany, and Northern Italy. After this period of unification, the now larger Frankish empire was once again divided between eastern and western sub-kingdoms, with the new version of the eastern kingdom eventually becoming the foundation of the Kingdom of Germany.

But but I got 3 new inland provinces thanks to my loyalty to our liege! That's gotta be worth something!

I guess we could build more trade post... So far on the heir side I have 2 boys, the main one with no traits and the 2nd one with 2 nice traits, I might kill the older one so you can get the better one :^)

I googled Austrasia a while ago too when I was researching about the carolingian empire, Charlemagne and the split up of his kingdom after his dead!

Inland..phht..who cares about inland?
Think of all the dockyards we get!
Oh, wait, total different time period
;)

I really don't care, what you get me, as long as gavelkind doesn't resize the realm to hard!
We need to push this more to primogeniture.
I really dislike gavelkind

hmm, that part of my history school education is long gone and I didn't read up on any pre Paradox time periods yet:))
Still on my pile of shame aka my booklist
